what a day

Bridger's breathing tube was removed yesterday and he was put on C-PAP again-this makes him very angry so they have been keeping him sedated. He woke up a bit this evening and had a giant poop! That is great because narcotics can make you constipated. It was so big and I wasn't expecting that much so as I was changing his diaper more came and was spread everywhere! The good news of that is he got to have a real bath-which he loves. I'll send pictures of that soon.

That's so great!! I read that you slept at home for the first time in 5 weeks...how did it go? Did you get much sleep? I am proud of you Staci. You are by far the Mom of The Year!! For 2008 and 2009. Keep it up. I know that Bridger knows his mom is always with him (even if she gets kicked out during shift change). Bridger is the luckiest boy in the world to have you for his mom. I'll see you guys on Saturday. I am so happy to hear Bridger is making progress. I love you guys.

Who knew poop could be so exciting!! : ) Sorry the C-PAP causes Bridger more stress, but it is great he is off the vent. I am very glad (for all of you) that things are moving in the right direction again. I'm glad you got to go home to sleep, I'm sure Danny was glad to have you there also. You must feel more confident in Bridger's health to be able to leave for that long. That is great. Continue to hang in there. We love you guys!

I'm sure when Bridger is 14 he'll be glad to know that you told the whole world about his poop!
