Changes

Today the doctors took Bridger off his ventilator. They also took out one of his three central lines (that is how they give him his meds) which is a good thing. This is pretty big. The staff wants to start getting him used to life without outside help. Bridger was uncomfortable today though. His throat is probably raw from the ventilator and they have to switch his pain medication around so he doesn't get used to just one kind. Stay tough Bridger. We're all rooting for you.

Between all your prayers and the staff at Primary Children's Hospital PICU Bridger is getting all the help that he can. Thanks again for your support. Stay tuned...

WOW! No ventilator, that is huge!! Way to go little man! Keep getting stronger every day, you have lots of cousins (and others) that can't wait to see you. I'm hoping to stop by for a minute tomorrow, Staci, let me know if that will be okay. I hope Bridger is more comfortable today.

Great news!! It is so great that he is breathing on his own. Danny and Staci,I am so sorry that Bridger is uncomfortable. (to say the least)We will continue to pray that things will improve and get easier for Bridger, and you both. We all love and miss you! Love, Heather

Dear Leisa,

Thank you for keeping us posted. It means so much to me.

Danny and Staci I would like to come up, but I have Lisa's children every day and they both have had colds. I wouldn't take a chance on passing it to you or Bridger for all the world.

Love, grandma

Staci,

I think of you, Danny and Bridger everyday. Charlie and the rest of the family have been constantly battling colds/stomach stuff as of late so I've decided to keep my germs to myself. I am so glad that Bridger is doing better and I look forward to finally meeting him in person. You are in my thoughts, heart and prayers.
