Well Bridger is a little more stable than last night right now. They still have him somewhat sedated but not paralyzed right now. The plan for right now is to give Bridger's body a rest and keep him on the breathing machine for a bit, also he just needs to grow as much as possible so that for the next surgery he is a little stronger and his mitral valve is larger and more easy to work with. They just got done placing a central line in his right arm and hopefully that will hold out for a while-this way they don't have to poke him so often. So for now we just need to wait and give him time to rest and grow.

Hi Danny, Staci, and Bridger. Just wanted you guys to know we were all thinking about you, and that we all love you so much. We are all praying that you can endure this crisis. I'm glad Bridger is more stable. It's so hard to see him go through so much. He is so small and angelic and the tubes and wires and machines are so big and daunting. I love that you, Stac, know what the doctors are talking about. I love that you have a great support system within your family and I am so glad you live so close to the best childrens hospital there is. Bridger, Merry Christmas. Tell Santa you want to get stronger and come home. We miss you guys.

Praying for you and you little son, Bridget. I have yet to meet the little fighter, but can't wait but haven't wanted to put him at any risk due to his fluctuating health. I miss you and our little yoga sessions and laughter therapy. You ate such an amazing woman and mother. You are gaining strength daily and gaining wisdom in our life's challenges. Stay strong and can't wait to see you again and meet your precious don. He is so handsome.

You probably don't remember us, we are Chelsea, Jessi and Josh's mom and dad. Derek emailed us about your beautiful little sweetheart and he has been in our prayers every day since.
