Thank you!

We would like to extend all of our thanks to everyone to has been such an amazing support to us. It is wonderful to know how loved Bridger is. We are very appreciative for all of the beautiful flowers and all of the donations made in memory of Bridger. I will continue to use this blog to document all of the activities that we participate in for Bridger. We would like to thank my uncle Lee for giving us the idea of a tree for the festival of trees. Danny and I are going to decorate one each year to donate, we will also participate in the heart walk this September in Bridger's name. I know it won't be as exciting, but we will still keep posting pictures of these events. Thank you again for everything. I hope that we can live up to our son's impact and strength.

Dear Stacy, I want to tell you what an amazing tribute yesterday was. Everything that was said, sung and seen was beautiful. I truly wish there was a way to take away your pain. You guys are so amazing and you have amazing strength. Your song was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. You should record that song with you singing. I will look forward to seeing you at the heart walk. I would love to help, donate or do anything for the tree. Let me know. I will never forget Bridger and his sweet beautiful eyes. Praying for you. Much love, Hilary Cook

I feel like I should be thanking you and Danny instead of the other way around. I am SO happy you are part of our family. I am a better person for knowing you. Thank you for bringing Bridger into this world to teach us about strength, family and perseverance. Thank you for being the favorite aunt and uncle. Thank you for inviting us into your lives through this blog.

The funeral was beautiful, and tough. The perfect tribute to Bridger. The song you sang melted my heart. I want a copy of it by the way. The red balloons at the grave site were so helpful to show my kids that Bridger's spirit lives on.

We want to be a part of Heart Walks and the Festival of Trees. So if you can post info here about these events that would be great! Besides, it means that I get to pull up a picture of you guys every day :)

Love ya!

Staci and Danny,
I am so moved and inspired. You and Bridger are my heroes! I love you all! My heart is broken for you, but to try and help mend a small part, I have I have set up a team for the walk a thon in Bridgers name for anyone to donate or join in the walk. (I hope I have not over stepped) The American Heart Association Walk A Thon will be on September 12 at Surgar House Park. If anyone else has set up a team on behalf of Brider, please let me know and we will work to combine them, so that we all work together on this great cause.
Here is the link - I realized after I set it all up, it reads as bridgershearheroes instead of bridgersheartheroes - please forgive me - this is what happens when you try and type and your eyes are full of tears.

Hi Staci, It was really good to see you and Danny and what a wonderful tribute to Bridger. He touched so many peoples lives and he will always be remembered:) If you need anything please let Dean and I know. I wanted to tell you that if you need a form to fill out for the Festival of trees I can get one for you. My mom's friend is in charge of the Festival of trees so just let me or Dean know.

Dear Danny and Staci,
I spoke with Dave G. last Sunday. He called as he was waiting for the plane to go home. I hope he had a chance to talk to you to explain why we were unable to attend Bridger's service. You have never been very far from our thoughts and continue to be in our prayers. Our hearts hurt so much for you. What an amazing mommy and daddy you are! Bridger is watching over you and sometimes, when the house is quiet and the tears are on hold for a minute I'll bet you can feel him there with you.

This will be the third year we've donated a tree for the Festival of Trees. If you need any help, information, etc., please do not hesitate to call or email me.

We have made a donation in Bridger's name toward a sleepchair. But, Darrell and I have something we would like to donate to the hospital for perhaps the play area. I need to have one thing made before we get it to you.

Although we haven't gone through quite the trials you both have, we unfortunately understand the emotions, loss and disbelief, among other emotions you will be feeling. If you ever feel like talking I would love to hear from you. Danny, it's been a lot of years sweetie! Staci, everything I have heard about you is amazing.

My email is yeskelson@aol.com. You can reach us through Chelsea's Charity website, www.chelseascharities.com or Dave, Derek...lots of the kids have our number.

God Bless,
The Eskelson Family
